There was frequent praise for the customer service with reviewers often describing personnel as helpful, friendly and welcoming with good local knowledge.

This motel's location at the southern end of Seaside proved popular with guests as it put them within a half-mile of Seaside Beach for razor clam hunting and coastal walks. Motorists welcomed being beside US Route 101 for easy access to downtown and nearby attractions. Moreover, there were several gas stations and eateries nearby.

Many guests agreed the rooms weren't fancy but were adequately clean, spacious and comfortable for a shorter stay. Some rooms were better-equipped with hot-tubs, microwaves and fridges, which guests liked. Due to its relatively reasonable rates, reviewers often said it represented fair value for money. Perks such as free parking and the pets allowed policy were a plus.

A few critics felt the rooms would be enhanced by further modernization to address issues like malfunctioning air-conditioning, old televisions and dated decor.
