With both the largest interchange station on the London Underground, Kings Cross St. Pancras, and St. Pancras International Train Station a five-minute walk from the hotel, you can get anywhere fast.

The hotel décor is summed up as being smart, modern and clean by most, but there are numerous little additions to set it apart from other boutique offerings. There are feature fireplaces, chandeliers and wall murals aplenty, and rooms are well-equipped and, largely, practical in design.

If you wish to spend the day exploring the local area after you check-out, the hotel operates a luggage storage facility for a small additional fee. Many guests find this service incredibly helpful, despite the extra cost.

One criticism which crops up in many reviews is that the rooms are rather compact. In some rooms, the bed is situated against the wall and storage is wholly inadequate for guests staying more than a night or two. The sinks in the bathrooms are also regularly described as tiny and impractical.

Being set in a Georgian townhouse, it is unsurprising that the hotel is set over several floors and, if you find stairs a challenge, you will want to request a room on a low floor as there is no lift. On the plus side, the higher up you go the better the views, with top floor guest rooms enjoying the view across the park.

Considering that the hotel has been refurbished recently, previous guests have been surprised that more wasn't done to improve soundproofing. Some have reported hearing everything from plumbing to footfall and the heavy fire doors are another source of noise disturbance.
