In the picturesque Market Town of Uppingham resides The Falcon Hotel, a charming 16th century coaching inn, recently renovated to create a luxuriously comfortable hotel. Presiding over the Market Place, The Falcon’s twenty one individually decorated bedrooms, traditional restaurant and oak-panelled bars, create the ultimate environment for your perfect stay in the quintessential county of Rutland. Since being bought in 2011, The Falcon Hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment in order to re-establish its position as the lynch pin of the Uppingham Market Place. The Garden Terrace and surrounding garden has been reformed to create a contemporary yet luxurious space at the rear of the Hotel. The babbling waterfall in the Garden and plethora of flowers are the perfect place for a coffee with friends. In the main lounge of The Falcon enjoy comfy sofas and armchairs, with a roaring fire in the winter and home-made afternoon tea cakes all year round. Seven of the bedrooms have fantastic views over the unique market place, with the traditional market still taking place every Friday morning.
