The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach is part of a swanky, Mediterranean-inspired beach resort, and is about a 30-minute drive from Jacksonville in North Florida. Blending modernity with old-world grandeur, the resort is set within ten acres of seaside property. Many of the 66 en-suite bedrooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean from their balconies. The award-winning interior design includes plush features, including fancy windows, fireplaces, marble bathrooms, and spa baths in some rooms. Suites include kitchenettes and seating areas. The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach incorporates a kids' pool with water slides, as well as an ocean-facing pool and hot tub, where adults can escape for some peace. There is also a gym and on-site conference centre. Access to golf and tennis is available at a sister resort. The hotel offers four dining options, including the poolside Barefoot Bistro and the Seafood Grille, overlooking the beach. The complex is within a 20-minute drive of Adventure Landing Jacksonville and South Beach Park & Sunshine Playground. Atlantic Beach is 15 kilometres away.

The suites are very luxurious and have recently been updated. Those who have stayed recently have said they have been overjoyed with how amazing the rooms are. The maids keep the rooms very clean and are at hand if anything is required.
The ten acres of land stretches along the coast giving plenty of space to relax and explore. Families and couples who have reviewed the lodge have all stated how fantastic the location is.
Unfortunately there have been comments left about the cost of the drinks in the bars which appear to be overpriced. Food is reasonable but some previous visitors have not been happy being overcharged. Unless you go to the nearby sister hotel, you are a little stuck for somewhere to drink so have to pay the prices.
There appears to be an issue with the staff on an evening. Reviews about the service given by the dinner staff have been somewhat disappointing. There is a lack of staff and the ones who do come to the table eventually are short tempered and not attentive at all.
There are some issues with the water temperature and pressure within the suites. Some previous guests have mentioned they have had problems on a morning when one or more people have used the showers in the rooms.
