Meals Are a Win.
Guests have been happy with the meals served at the Netherwood Hotel. The food is reportedly served quickly and with a nice presentation, but it is hot and fresh. Breakfast is an assortment of continental items or the option for a hot breakfast, and dinner offers up to four courses. The menu changes often enough to stay interesting, and the dining room has views of the bay.

negative:
The Owner Lacks Professionalism.
Guests have been displeased with the treatment by the owner at times. Some guests have reported that the owner is unprofessional and does not seem to believe in the notion that the customer is always right, as he reportedly argues with guests.
negative:
Grubby Details.
Guests have also been unhappy with the lack of attention to details. The changing room in the pool area in the main hotel is reportedly in need of a cleaning, as is the carpet in some rooms. Several guests also had negative comments regarding the showers.
negative:
Avoid the Rock House.
The Rock House, the annexed part of the hotel that serves as extra guest rooms, reportedly is in need of a deep cleaning. There is no lighting between it and the main house, which guests say means there is a bit of walk between them.
