Positive Reviews
positive:
Keeping a cool head.
This is one of Spain's real hot spots with temperatures soaring above those in the rest of Europe for most of the year. Here, air conditioning is as essential as central heating is in other countries. Thankfully … it works very well!
positive:
Nice, clean apartments.
The accommodation is fine in most respects; clean and well maintained. These, after all, are the two priorities anywhere you stay.
positive:
A convenient location.
In addition to the pools here, the beach is only a 10 minute walk away and another 5 minutes takes you into the little town of Zahara de los Atunes. The pool here, though, tempts you to stay on-site and they provide towels, which is good.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hell's kitchen: and a desert of equipment.
In all probability, in this heat, you'll opt out of cooking completely - it is a holiday after all. If, though, you decide to opt in at any point, you'll find that the kitchen utensils provided are thin on the ground, so you'll probably need to buy more before you even start cooking.
negative:
Fuelled with some disappointment.
The apartments are OK … but not what you'd call ‘special'. For what is provided, the feeling is that they are somewhat over-priced. Some of the views are worse than the ones at home! Unless, of course, you're used to views over a petrol filling station!
negative:
A noisy fit of displeasure.
There's very little storage and hanging space for clothes, so they'll probably stay in the suitcase. Beds are very hard. None of the doors are fitted well. Every time you walk past someone's room, the door ‘clatters' … as it does with yours!
