    About The Spider House

    The Spider House can be best described as a large open plan treehouse that we built on the rocks directly over the water in Balabag. The house is built mainly with bamboo and wood and blends in naturally with its surroundings. The rooms have doors but are otherwise open-plan with clear views out to the sea and beach. We have a number of different room types, but don’t let the fancy names fool you. They are all designed in the same simple style and you won’t find a TV or A/C in any of them. The main differences are size and position in the house. There are fans in all the rooms to help keep you cool at night and the mosquitos away. You’ll also find a mosquito net over the bed, but extra protection is always recommended. Throughout the house there is free WiFi for you to use if you feel that you need to connect to the rest of the world.
