The people that work here go above and beyond the call of duty in their efforts to make you feel comfortable and at home. They are super friendly and will help out in any way that they can.

This pub is in the perfect setting for those that are visiting to see the historic sights of Frome. The museum is a short walk away, and there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or have a drink within a few minutes' walk.

The meals that are all served in the restaurant are superb. There are plenty of options so you'll find something to your liking and the portions are generous and reasonably priced.

The parking to the rear of the property isn't enough for guests and staff to park at the same time so you'd best call ahead to let them know that you are driving so they can reserve a place for you. It's not terrible, but a little small, and some may find it difficult to manage.

This is not a hotel but rooms over a pub, so you have to expect a certain amount of noise to get through to the rooms. This isn't ideal for those that are light sleepers or if you have an early start in the morning. It's not great for those with children either.

In this day and age, it's very unusual for a place to have no water for the shower, but that's exactly what has happened to a few guests at this pub. It's not really acceptable for the price you pay to have to wait for the water to heat up.
