Hotel The Inn at Camachee Harbor (St. Augustine, USA)

The hotel's waterfront location affords stunning views of the harbor, especially at night when the lights are beautiful. It is a hidden gem, but situated close enough to the town of St. Augustine and everything that it has to offer. There are also many different restaurants located at the harbor where you can enjoy good food.

Dogs are made to feel very welcome at the hotel. Understandably there is an additional charge if you would like to take your dog along and many guests take advantage of this. Staff are reportedly friendly towards the dogs.

The rooms are meticulously cleaned on a daily basis which really helps you to relax as do the beds which have been described by lots of previous guests as being extremely comfortable. Many of the rooms are also larger than you would expect as well.

Some previous guests have complained of other guests being too noisy and causing a disturbance at night. They also found that there wasn't any security during the night and reception desk wasn't always manned.

The hotel has a cancelation policy whereby if you cancel your booking seven days after you made the booking then you will still be charged. This has been met with concern from some guests who were in disagreement with the policy, but admitted that they should have read the terms and conditions beforehand.

There have been some positive reviews of rooms, but there are also negative reviews stating that the decor is looking worse for wear and decades out of date and that beds are uncomfortable and dirty. As these units are individually owned, it seems the quality and style varies.
