About The Fold
The Fold Guesthouse occupies an 18th century cottage in the west Cumbrian village of Kirksanton between the Irish Sea and gorgeous Lake District National Park. This adults-only bed and breakfast is five minutes’ drive from Millom and the pretty River Duddon estuary.
Tastefully-decorated rooms with Black Combe or countryside views plus deluxe bedding boast en suite bathrooms with free toiletries and hairdryers, hot drinks provisions and flat-screen TV/DVD players.
Conveniences include a lounge, drying room, gardens, bike storage, ironing facilities, free Wi-Fi throughout and complimentary parking.

The Fold Guesthouse is two miles from Silecroft Beach. Hikers can walk up Black Combe fell in roughly two hours for views of Scotland, Wales and Ireland, weather-permitting. Beautiful Wast Water lake is 45 minutes’ drive away.

Breathtaking scenery in the Lake District National Park was on this property's doorstep, offering a stunning backdrop for walking, mountain biking, horse riding and other outdoor pursuits. Guests also liked the tranquillity of the setting and being able to reach the nearest beach on foot. Motorists liked the free parking and appreciated the direct access to the A5093 and proximity of the A595 for trips to area attractions, beauty spots, beaches, golf courses and dining options. Furthermore, there were shops, petrol stations, amenities and a train station conveniently located in nearby Millom.
