Hotel Surfers Riverside Apartments (Surfers Paradise, Australia)

Many guests loved the riverside location of the hotel, which many said was quiet and peaceful; but also close to the action just a short ten minute stroll into Cavill Avenue and the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Guests were surprised by the size of the rooms with many saying that they felt that they were bigger than average for the Gold Coast. Guests also commented that the balconies were large and a good place to hang out and sip a beverage.

The Gold Coast tourist strip can be expensive and guests travelling on a budget commented that the hotel was well priced and offered value for money when compared to the surrounding high rises and skyscrapers on the Coast.

Guests who wanted to check-in out of hours and after the reception had closed found it very inconvenient that the instructions on how to get into their rooms were either nonexistent or very confusing, these reviews tell of their frustration and annoyance.

Broken appliances, dirty pots and pans and kitchen utensils, and pungent odours were the reason behind negative reviews about this hotel, wtih previous guests suggesting that the property could use a complete overhaul.

A common complaint made by guests was about the unacceptable amount of  noise made by some of the permanent residents of the property, with some guests suggesting that if there was better sound proofing between rooms than they would have gotten a better nights sleep.
