Positive Reviews
positive:
Great transport links and dining.
Spagna is said to be located just a few minutes' walk away from the Venice Train Station and waterbus stations on the Grand Canal, as well as close to Piazzale Roma — a prime location for those worried about having to find their way throughout a notoriously labyrinthine city. In addition, a wide range of restaurants, gelaterias and shops are apparently close by.
positive:

Negative Reviews
negative:
Simple breakfast offering, no fridges.
Some guests thought that the breakfast offering was too simple, consisting mainly of a croissant, toast, cereal and spreads. On top of this, a small number of people were disappointed that there were no fridges in rooms.
negative:
Stairs to deal with.
The fact that there are no lifts on site — at least not to the reception — made it a bit difficult for those travelling with a lot of luggage, with such guests complaining that there were a fair few flights of stairs to conquer.
negative:
A little small and dated.
A small number of guests found the rooms a bit too small for their liking, with others considering them to be a bit dated — although this could come down to the traditional decor.
