Positive Reviews
positive:
Polite and friendly staff.
For the many regular guests, this is like returning home. There is a homely feel to the place and owners and staff welcome you as returning friends. The result is that you are immediately in relaxed mode and ready to take full advantage of your holiday break.
positive:
Seaside cottages.
The cottage upgrades are ultra-attractive. They have that feeling of extra privacy .. and that full on sea view is to die for.
positive:
Lazy, hazy dayz.
If you've got a cottage, you can sit + laze around, just outside the front door and take in those ocean views. The communal pool is lovely with plenty of space for sunbathing. Later, you don't have to walk very far for restaurants, or if you just want a night in, pop along to the local Publix, stock up on groceries ... and get someone else to prepare your meal!
Negative Reviews
negative:
For the long and the short ... but not the tall.
Cottages are fine but, whilst beds are OK for most, tall people will have a problem here.
negative:
Cost inflatables.
It's fair to say that the price you pay for these 'step back in time' facilities is really quite minimal; so that's OK. Nothing wrong with a bit of 'dated'. However, just as you are congratulating yourself on getting a real bargain, they hit you where it hurts with a massive parking fee + that changes everything!
negative:
Some basics are missing.
Possibly, in 1960, the kitchen was well equipped. Since then stuff has gone missing so no way can you think of preparing, or devouring, a meal without embarking on a stocking up, shopping expedition. Real basics like kitchen towels, salt and pepper are all in short .. or even nil .. supply and the place stinks of mold and damp.
