Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient location for exploring the town centre.
Seashells is slap bang in the middle of Newquay, right next to the sea and set amongst the many shops, restaurants and bars the town has to offer. If you want to be in the thick of it this is the place to stay.
positive:
Lovely sea views from many of the rooms.
Being so close to the harbour, many of the rooms at this guesthouse enjoy stunning views of the sea. You can watch the fishing boats coming and going or open up the window for some refreshing sea air.

Friendly hosts treat you like old friends.
The hosts who own and run this guesthouse do an excellent job of welcoming you in and making you feel at home. They are very helpful and always happy to chat about the best things to do in the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Free Wi-Fi doesn't seem to work in all the rooms.
Unfortunately there is a bit of an issue with internet connectivity in this property. The free Wi-Fi doesn't seem to reach all corners of the guesthouse so some rooms don't pick up a good signal from the free Wi-Fi.
negative:
Time allowed for breakfast is not flexible.
When it comes to enjoying your morning meal you'll have to make sure that you're up on time and downstairs promptly. There is little flexibility in the time window for breakfast so set your alarm.
negative:
Can get noisy at night so close your windows
Newquay is a popular destination for nightlife-seeking revellers, and the abundance of bars and nightclubs in the immediate area makes for some noisy nights. If you are a light sleeper you could find this disturbing.
