Situated in the heart of Sitges’ shopping district, but still only 200 yards from the beach, the Piccadilly Hotel is a recently renovated property offering simple accommodation and friendly service. The 28 rooms are relatively basic, but still have all you need for a good night’s sleep. Each features en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, in-room safe and telephone. Most also have a private balcony. The reception is open 24 hours and can offer guests comprehensive assistance. Wi-Fi is available around reception, and off-street parking is available for a fee. There are also meeting and function rooms of various sizes. A continental breakfast buffet is available every morning and can be enjoyed in the dining room or out on the terrace. Later in the day the bar sells a variety of drinks, with a pool table available. The nearest beach is barely 300 yards from the Piccadilly.
It was the staff's attitude at Piccadilly that guests most seemed to appreciate about the hotel. They were said to be incredibly welcoming on arrival, and friendly and helpful for the duration of a guest's stay.
While not right on the beach, this did not seem to bother any guests a great deal. The beach was described as just a short walk away, and furthermore, many enjoyed being really close to the shopping and nightlife in the city centre in any event. It was a simple matter to simply walk to the beach when in the mood.
Whatever other problems guests had with their room, its cleanliness certainly wasn't one of them. The rooms were widely described as spotless, with contrary opinions not easily found.
While the hotel does not exactly present itself as the Ritz, a number of guests found the room quite a bit more basic than they had expected it to be. It wasn't that they found them to be lacking in the necessities, but that they seemed to contain absolutely nothing more than the necessities, bare or otherwise.
It appears that no concrete soundproofing measures have been taken to insulate rooms from one another. As a result, guests explain that the quality of your sleep is dependent on exactly how quite and considerate your neighbours are.
While it did also garner some praise, the majority seemed not to enjoy the breakfast very much. It was described as being uninspiring, and also available in only a small time window.
