Positive Reviews
positive:
Eclectic mix of Medieval and Modern.
Most guests love the combination of old and new at the hotel. Roman ruins form a large part of the ground level of the building, and Medieval artefacts are dotted all over. It's a charming place to be, and most find the modern elements welcome and the more antique parts stylish and elegant.
positive:
Excellent quality food.
With a Michelin-starred chef behind the helm, the restaurant at Palazzo Victoria- Borsari 36, unsurprisingly, offers excellent quality food. Guests recommend opting for the timed menu if you have places to go as, with 45- and 60-minute options available, you can have an incredible, yet speedy dinner for a good price.
positive:
Verona sights within easy reach.
The Palazzo is within easy reach of all the highlights of Verona; Castelvecchio and the Arena are close by and all the attractions of the Old Town are a short walk away. Verona Porta Nuova Station, five-minutes away, gives access further afield.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Compact fitness room.
The gym is small and fairly in-equipped so is not used regularly by guests. So much so, that some have reported seeing it used as a make-shift luggage store on occasion.
negative:
Won't satisfy larger appetites.
While excellent, the restaurant will not be to all tastes. With a fine-dining menu, portions of small but immaculately presented dishes are served so, if you're more of a fan of generous portions of hearty portions it won't be for you.
negative:
Parking is pricey.
Private parking is available at the hotel for an additional supplement, however, most guests who have utilised it find it an expensive option. Public transport is good so it may be worth considering leaving the car at home, or doing without a hire car, if you can.
