Positive Reviews
positive:
Interesting and funky decor
Interestingly, the bold décor was probably what most impressed guests about the hotel. While they did have some issues with the rooms, they seemed to have been compensated for by the interesting design. It gave guests the feeling of being in an artistic and creative space.
positive:
Good location
Though not perhaps in the very heart of tourist Paris, the Arc de Triomphe is just a couple of minutes away, and there are a number of metro stations in the area. Guests seemed very happy with the location, saying they could walk to many places, and take a quick metro to the rest, without too many hassles.
positive:
Decent breakfast
A couple of guests seemed a bit surprised to be reporting that the breakfast actually wasn't half bad. Though a fairly standard continental buffet, they said that it was well presented and available in a very charming cellar dining room.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very small rooms
When in Paris, it seems, one is to do as the Japanese do, and make do with very small living spaces Of course it is a Parisian cliché that the hotel rooms are small, but this fact was no consolation to those complaining that two people could hardly move about in their room.
negative:
A bit noisy
Though it doesn't seem like it is a very big issue, several guests did complain that the rooms didn't have good soundproofing. They could hear noise from both the street and adjacent rooms, which sometimes disturbed their sleep.
negative:
Sinks don't drain properly
A surprisingly common and specific complaint was that the sinks do not drain properly, meaning water accumulated in them making them difficult to use. Guests found it a mystery why this problem could not be fixed.
