Going by the reviews, it seems many of the guests were going on road trips and using this hotel for a quick stopover. To this end, they found the location, right off the interstate, to be perfect for their needs.

It seemed that guests had only good things to say about the complimentary breakfast offered every morning. They reported that it was actually quite varied and even included a number of hot foods like biscuits and gravy.

One of the first things guests mentioned in their reviews was that they found the staff at the hotel to be exceptional. They were said to offer a warm welcome and have a very friendly and approachable attitude; but what most seemed to impress was their willingness to go out of their way to help when required.

Many guests were disappointed to discover that their standard room contained neither microwave nor fridge. Going by various sources of marketing materials, they were under the impression that they would be included and were disappointed that they couldn’t keep their cold drinks cold and heat up a snack when the mood struck.

Guests didn’t really like the outside walkways to get to their rooms. Of course this part of Florida is not immune to the effects of bad weather, like high winds, and guests would have preferred for these to be enclosed and weather proof.

An extraordinary number of guests reported that the hotel’s sole elevator was both slow and smelly. They could not quite describe what it smelled like, but it was said to be unpleasant. Together with the slowness, this made some decide to rater take the stairs.
