Set in the heart of Juan-Les-Pins, Hôtel La Villa Juan Beach is an elegant boutique hotel just minutes from the beach. It offers guests the archetypal Cote d’Azur experience of whitewashed walls, blue accents and a palm-fringed terrace. The rooms are fashionably minimalist, with flashes of colour, and feature air conditioning, flat screen TV’s with international channels, in-room safes and hairdryers. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available. The hotel’s principle feature is undoubtedly its chic pool terrace, where guests will find the usual sun beds and poolside cafe. Reception is open from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM and limited parking is available for an additional fee. Breakfast is available, and is served around the pool in fine weather. For other meals there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants in the surrounding streets. The main attractions are the beach and village, which are both just minutes' walk from Hôtel La Villa Juan Beach. Antibes is only 1.8 miles away.
This is perhaps guest's most favourite feature of Juan Beach. The location is described as within very easy walking distance of both the beach, and the town centre with its bars, restaurants and cafes.
The pool terrace also comes in for much praise. It is described as unusually stylish, and the pool itself a boon after a long hot day on the beach. Guests seem to realise they have arrived at the very stylish Cote d'Azur.
The staff members are roundly praised for their attitude to their jobs. They are described as welcoming, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Several guests mention the breakfast, specifically, as being exceptionally expensive, but the drinks at the poolside bar also come in for criticism. Some guest simply walk into the village where there appear to be restaurants and bars with much more reasonable prices
This is perhaps the most common complaint. While guests do like many aspects of the hotel, and appreciate that received a reasonable room-rate in some prime holiday real estate, they d seem a bit shocked by just how small the rooms are.
While this certainly wasn't a universal complaint, more than just one or two guests mentioned that they had mould in their bathrooms when checking-in. Sometimes staff could remedy this, and sometimes not, but obviously it made a very bad first impression.
