Hotel Gilbert's B&B (Rehoboth, USA)

The bed and breakfast all being in a farmhouse building makes for quite a cozy environment as there are not many guest rooms and thus overall Gilbert's is not a large establishment. Furthermore the owners are extremely warm and welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile for their guests.

The complimentary breakfast is prepared by the owners Jeanne and Don themselves and enjoyed in the charming lounge where guests have enjoyed many a pleasant chat with them and with fellow visitors. Aside from the selection of cereal, eggs, sausages, etc. allergies and dietary needs (for example, gluten-free) can be catered to as well.

The wireless internet can be accessed from rooms as well as public areas and many have found it strong and stable enough even to get a little work done while staying at Gilbert's.

Although generally adding to the charm of the place, previous guests have noted they found it difficult to find the property at first as it's secluded, however once you're there the calm is worth it and shops, hiking trails and other amenities are a few minutes' drive away.

It should be noted that some guest rooms (those on the top floor) share a bathroom with other rooms so there is less privacy in these cases should the other rooms be occupied at the time of your stay, which can be an issue for some. It is however a large bathroom and kept very clean like the rest of the house.

Despite the charming house and surroundings, the bed and breakfast is basic in its amenities and serves as more of a base to rest at the end of the day than a destination in itself.
