Hotel Domspitzen (Cologne, Germany)

The rooms are found to be charming spaces to stay in, especially because they were found to be very clean. The furnishings were comfortable and the cleaning was done thoroughly.

The hotel is close to the main train station and therefore also close to the Cologne Cathedral. Many guests were content with having the centre within easy reach, as well as various eateries and bars.

The breakfast offered at the hotel was fit for kings and many guests appreciated the variety of items offered in the morning. There were plenty of cheeses, fresh fruits and varied drinks available for guests who were very impressed with the layout and the bright setting.

Some guests found out that they had booked a double bedroom only to find two single beds placed together. They found this to be uncomfortable and annoying given they had paid for a double bed.

Some guests found the bathrooms to be too small for them as they did not have enough space to maneuver themselves. This was especially true for tall people who had a hard time moving around the bathroom.

Some guests found the hard way that the lift available does not reach every single room in the hotel. They found this to be very inconvenient for people who had to carry heavy luggage, the elderly or people who needed a lift. They recommend to ask reception for a room where the lift reaches.
