Great central location
Locanda Casa Petrarca is in a great location for visiting Venice. It's walking distance to the city's many attractions (minutes from Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark's Square just to name a few), and close to great restaurants and shops. It's right by the canal, which is great for scenic views and makes it easy to grab a water taxi to and from the train station. Also, although the hotel is so centrally located, it's on a quiet street in a lovely historic building, so it feels like a true Venetian experience.

You'll feel right at home
Stefano and Valentina, the hotel's staff, are very welcoming and friendly. They offer great restaurant recommendations so you're sure to enjoy great dining during your visit, and they can answer any tourist questions knowledgeably. They also give very clear directions and a map on how to find the hotel, which is helpful because Venice can be tricky to find your way around.

Excellent value
The hotel offers great value for Venice. It's clean and well maintained and the staff is wonderful. The reception and breakfast rooms are nicely furnished and the breakfast is complimentary and very tasty. Request a room with canal view if it's in your budget; the double rooms with canal views (and private bathrooms) are well worth the cost. It's an unbeatable option for the location and price in Venice.
