This pleasant space was remodeled and rebuilt with the objective of creating a balance between the modern and the classic. Located on the first floor, you can enjoy one of the most stunning views of the village, either from the terrace or from the balcony. Casa da Retorta, once a family home, also has some original details such as the stained glass windows in the hallway, the corticite's bedroom floor or the sucupira windows' design. It is located in Alcains, a town that was elevated to the village category only on 12 November 1971 (Decree No. 495/71), after having been considered the largest town in Portugal for many years, and whose origins go back in time. The house has 4 bedrooms (1 suite with king size bed and a crib, 1 bedroom with double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each that can be joined if desired) numbered from 1 to 4, a living room / kitchen and bathroom. The suite has a private bathroom, while the rooms have shared bathroom located in the hallway. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and digital television. All rooms have a window that allows the entrance of natural light. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, stove and utensils needed for cooking. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs available. In the kitchen furniture is the first aid box. In the living room you can find a sofa bed and a convivial table. There is a terrace, which you can access from the kitchen, where there is a table and 4 chairs to enjoy the most beautiful sunset. Casa da Retorta has a smart lock that allows self check-in from a code provided after the reservation has been made.
