The owners, Lauren and Ray, are normally around for at least part of the day, and they and their staff make a great effort to make their guests feel at home. Their friendly, personalized service really makes you feel that Beachfront is a bed & breakfast rather than an ordinary hotel.
Some reviewers found the check-in process confusing, as they hadn't realized that you have to complete the formalities at the owners' other property, La Fiesta, next door.
Some reviewers were disappointed to find that you don't get a choice at breakfast, which is served family-style in a single sitting. The menu does change daily, however, and you can also have room service. If you have a healthy appetite you might also find the portions a bit small, although you can always ask for seconds.
