Guesthouse Comfort Inn Downtown (Salt Lake City, USA)

The majority of guests at the Comfort Inn Downtown Salt Lake City were fairly impressed by the standard of the rooms. They are basic but clean and feature comfortable beds. A few guests found the A/C a little noisy but not excessively so. Other than that, all appears well.

Guests tend to describe the staff at this hotel in positive terms. The service isn't particularly polished, but the staff seems genuinely friendly and willing to help out when required. Check in runs fairly smoothly bar occasional technical issues.

Although it doesn't sound like you should expect anything fancy, the free breakfast served at the hotel suited many guests. The food is nice and the choice of available items, although limited, is acceptable. Furthermore, the dining area is well maintained.

Despite its name, the Comfort Inn Downtown Salt Lake City isn't exactly in the heart of the downtown district. It is still convenient, but walking won't be an option for some guests. On the plus side, the hotel is within walking distance of the tramway.

A number of guests describe the Wi-Fi service at this hotel at so slow that it's basically unusable. Some guests thought it was so bad that it was essentially a deal breaker and, as a result, they would not choose to stay here again.

Although guests tend to describe this property as comfortable, it does appear that some updates may be long overdue. A number of reviews indicate that the decor is dated and the carpets are showing signs of serious wear and tear.
