Daily bread van and only 10 minutes' drive away are two market towns and many other attractions. The area is known for its diversity of plant and wildlife species, walking tracks, Roman and medieval ruins, Cathar castles and the mystery of Rennes le chateau. Close to skiing and beaches. Carcassonne, Toulouse, Lourdes and Carcassonne are all typical day trips. The house is beautifully finished and visitors are invited to use the chateau garden and its impressive range of aromatic herbs. The house may be rented for one or several nights and good discount in low season.
