Dormy House Hotel is a converted 17th Century Cotswolds farmhouse, set in landscaped gardens and delivering views of the Vale of Evesham.
Individually decorated guestrooms feature flatscreen satellite TVs, tablet computers, DVD players, telephones, complimentary Wi-Fi and tea and coffee-making facilities. Bathrobes, slippers and premium bedding are also provided. Some rooms boast four-poster beds.

Because the spa is so excellent, it sometimes gets a little crowded in there during the daytime. You might find a lack of available loungers by the pool, particularly because people place their towels on them in order to reserve them.

While staff are very friendly, the service is somewhat slow in the restaurants and bar. It seems that many of them have only a cursory knowledge hospitality. You might find yourself waiting quite a while for drinks or your meal.
