The town of Biella lies 8 kms away, whereas only 2 kms away lies Andorno Micca where a chemist, supermarket, ironware, bank, bar and restaurants can be found. San Giuseppe di Casto lies on the slopes of Mount Casto, at a height of 669 m. The geographical position is among the most suggestive of the province and you can relax wandering along wonderful paths in the green, either walking or mountain-biking. With a bit of chance you can meet also red and roe deers. The local Alps and the nearby Mont Blanc, Matterhorn and Monte Rosa offer the possibility of practising sport activities such as trekking, ski, mountaineering, rock and ice climbing. The owner will be glad to suggest you the most interesting hiking itineraries. The B&B gli Eremiti offers privacy, thanks to a completely independent portion of the house. The breakfast is served with food coming from an organic farm close by.
