Atrion Resort Hotel (Agia Marina, Greece)

Staff at Atrion were always willing to help, according to guests. From the front desk staff to the servers in the restaurant, this hotel received top marks for a friendly vibe. As an added bonus, staff were helpful in arranging excursions to local must-see destinations like Balos and Elafonisi.

Guests loved their worry-free holiday at Atrion, due in large part to bright and modern rooms that were kept very clean. While housekeeping only changed towels twice a week, they were efficient in dealing with cleaning requests, including changing bedding and towels at unscheduled times. Guests were also pleased with the tasty buffet meals served daily, and enjoyed the large portions served at the poolside bar.

Guests didn't have any complaints about the location of this hotel. With a bus stop in front, and a choice of supermarkets on the same street, guests felt that they couldn't have asked for a better location. Those without a car found bus routes to be extensive, which included stops at nearby Platanias for some serious nightlife.

Some guests were disappointed that air-conditioning and use of the in-room safe were only available for an additional fee. A few commented that having these amenities included would have improved the overall value of their vacation.

Guests in rooms facing the street were not only missing out on gorgeous ocean views, they were also subjected to noise at times. Visitors to Atrion highly recommended requesting a view of the sea to enjoy the beauty of Greece, and to avoid traffic noise.

A few were unimpressed with bars that closed early during non-peak months. It seems the hotel can get very quiet during the evening when tourist season is ramping up or winding down.
