Guests generally love the hotel's location, noting it is a little off the traditional tourist track yet all the sights are easily accessed via the Metro, and there's a station just outside the hotel entrance. There is also a Carrefour supermarket downstairs, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and a big shopping mall nearby as well. Many enjoy walking to Chinatown, and a few fit travellers walk to Notre Dame or the Luxembourg Gardens.

Guests often remark that though the rooms are not overly large, they feature a very practical layout, including "everything you need" in the kitchenette. Some rooms even offer a view of the Eiffel Tower. Many feel the apart'hotel offers exceptional value for money.

Many guests give top marks to the reception staff for their cheerful, helpful service, and the complimentary coffee in the lobby is widely appreciated.

Though it is well advertised on the Citadines website, several guests have been disappointed to discover that housekeeping services are provided on a weekly basis, and that daily services are available for an additional fee.

Several guests have felt let down by the breakfast buffet, describing the selection as "boring" or "limited." Some also wish for a greater number of satellite channels, especially in English.

A few guests have had trouble accessing the Wi-Fi or else found it too slow and unreliable for Skype, Netflix, etc. Some have also reported poor ventilation in the bathrooms or a "strange smell" in the hallways.
